Flaxseed Groudnut Ladoo

A healthy alternative for your sweet tooth. Having Jaggery in winter has many benefits. Ingredients: Flax seeds 1/2 cup [Alsi] Groundnuts 1.5 cup (Shelled) Jaggery 1 cup (crumbled) Ghee - 1-2tsp Steps: Roast the flax seeds on tawa, so that they become crisp. Do the same for Groundnuts. Do not let them turn dark due to over-roast. Less than a minute on medium flame is enough. First finely grind the flax seeds in the Grinder. Keep it separate. Now finely grind the Groundnuts. Add the Jaggery & mix the 3 thoroughly. Add 1-2 teaspoon of Ghee. Mix it into small to medium sized ladoos.

Tofu Bhurji

This is a simple recipe & takes least efforts & time. Ingredients: Tofu 100g Carrots & Beans (2 tbsp each) [Finely diced] Onion - 1 [Finely chopped] Oil 1 tsp Salt (tastewise) Red Chilli powder - 1/4 tsp Garam masala 1/4 tsp Jeera powder 1/4 tsp Jeera 1/4 tsp Steps: Mash the Tofu in fine grains. Put a little oil, enough to cook the onions & add Jeera when its hot. Put the onions & fry it a little. Now add the beans & carrots & fry for two minutes or so. Add the finely crushed Tofu & mix it with the vegetables. Add Salt, Chilli powder, Jeera powder & Garam masala, & mix thoroughly. Cook it for 2-3 minutes after the Tofu was added. The Tofu Bhurji is ready. Serve it with Phulka/Cutlet/Bread as per choice. One could add more vegetables like capsicum & customize it.

Rajma Cutlet

Rajma Cutlet Beyond Rajma Chawal, try out some Rajma Cutlet (Tikki). Ingredients: Boiled Mashed Rajma - 1 bowl Mashed Bread - 1/5th of Rajma [Optional] Mashed Potato - 1/5th of Rajma [Optional] Suji - 2 tablespoon Salt (tastewise) Red Chilli powder - 1 tsp Garam masala 1/2 tsp Jeera powder 1/2 tsp Carrot & Beans (Square diced) Oil (As per use) Steps: Remove any excess water from the boiled Rajma. Mash it with a potato masher. Ensure it is soft completely. Mash the boiled potato & add the finely crushed bread pieces, if used.  Add Salt, Chilli powder, Jeera powder & Garam masala. Mix it thoroughly to make it like dough. Add some finely diced carrot & beans. Ensure they are in very small quantity, else the cutlet will break if they are in excess. Sprinkle Suji on the Rajma Tikki. Cook the tikki on a pan with as much little oil you can. Keep the flame on (3/4).  Apply a little oil on the other side, & cook the other side. Both ...
